  1. Hey. I was wanting to go out to the Amusement park build, but the warp signs don't seem to work.
  2. Hey. I was wondering what the plan was with the server. I don't mind if you shut it down, I'd just like to take some screenshots of my builds first.
  3. It just isn't Halloween without a Misfit candy hunt.

  4. Server offline?

Strange. If the version isn't dead on, it's showing a "cannot connect to server" in the launcher instead of showing the version mismatch like it normally does.  This may be confusing people, like Atyla who I just talked to.  She thought it was offline too.  We're wanting to rename the race track after LadyBastet.  She built the stables and I think she would like that.

BTW, If there's somewhere on the website that shows the server version, I can't find it.

  5. Hey everyone. Hope you are all doing okay. I've been dealing with a bunch of health and other issues, so haven't been around the net much. Also, my Steam acct got messed up and I lost all my contacts, friends, PM's etc. If you would like to add me back to your friends list, it's still Willofstone. I've been playing some Empyrion GS lately on a server I'm renting. Still in Alpha, but they've added a lot of content, including NPC's. If you would like to play on the server, contact me on Steam.
  6. Anybody home? :logo:

Yeah.  Understandable.  Life goes on, as they say.  I've been a member of many communities over the years, but this one was different.

Lady Z and I have been playing Empyrion and using the SteamVoice app to chat.  Feel free to join us if you like.

Take care and enjoy your Summer.  :)

@Howard Viva I doubt anyone is shocked..  I spend most nights in @Eliot Seine Roe's KKK! She's the real pope now.

  7. To paraphrase Shakespeare. "All the world's a game, And all the men and women merely players." She was interesting, exasperating, and I'll miss her.
  8. A simple little game that's still in development. Best of all, it's freeware. You can pay nothing or pick your own price. I think I gave $2. https://raft.itch.io/raft
  9. Very nice. I really like the keyboard. What make/model is it?
  10. @RogueNice wood grain. Almost a flame pattern.
  11. “Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet princess; And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. ”
  12. Very popular thread on many forums. Post a video or two of who you're currently listening to. Just a few examples please, so as not to spam the thread. One of my favorites.
  13. Holy crap! Lone was right.  Let the purges begin. :(

  14. Currently playing The Elder Scrolls Online. It's now a single purchase for the game or dlc, with subscriptions being optional. I have to say, it's better than I had heard. The graphics are amazing. Combat and other game mechanics are smooth. It has all the lore and feel of Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim. Every single NPC in the game is voice acted. If you've played any of the Elder Scrolls games, then you'll feel right at home. Now for the downside. Most fans of the game series didn't want an MMO. They wanted a co-op version of Skyrim/Oblivion. Why they went this route is beyond me. They didn't reinvent or improve on the standard WOW model at all. They didn't even add in some of the newer features that other MMO's have had for years, like player housing. The quests are the same old kill this many of this, bring me 10 of this or some variation of that theme. The stories themselves surrounding the quests are very good. High quality writing, but it still feels repetitive. Overall, I like the setting and general game play, but it just feels hollow. I'm sure that with friends to play with and or a guild, it would be more enjoyable. Now I've heard that more changes are on the way, like player housing, so I'm going to be hopeful that this will improve over time. For right now, it's a fun casual RPG that you can play with friends, but don't expect anything you haven't seen before. On a happy side note, The Elder Scrolls VI: Valenwood is in pre-production.
  15. Lost in Tamriel.

Hang tight, I'm coming for you buddy!

  16. Our reply. Starts at the 1:30 mark, if you want to skip Kimmel.
  17. Twitch is also set to buy Curse/FeedTheBeast. Not sure what that's going to affect.
  18. A little long, but really conveys the essence of the subject.
  19. Adios.
  20. "Repent, Harlequin!' Said the Ticktockman"

  21. Just got this. On sale for $10 on Steam til the 22nd. Played about an hour and I like it. Still an Alpha, but very playable. You crash land on a planet and have to mine/gather to get materials to make a ship. Then you can travel to other planets. Supposedly millions of them can be generated. Open world/open universe. It has multiplayer too, although I haven't tried it yet. One reviewer said; "This is what No Man's Sky should have been."
  22. Turns out that those high CPU and RAM requirements posted on the Steam forum were from people running Huge 50-100 people servers. For a small 10-16 person server, it only requires about 4GB. My VPS has 20 slots and with 2 people on, it barely registers on the usage graph.
  23. I rented a VPS with Empyrion on it. PM me for info if you would like to play on it.
